The Full Story
My best friend was getting married. I needed to find the perfect dress and had an image in my mind of what I wanted. I spent hours online looking at petite brands and styles. I went to 10 to 12 different stores and tried on tons of different petite and non-petite size clothes in the months leading up to the ceremony.
I always find myself feeling frustrated and sick of ill fitting clothing choices for petite women. There are just not enough fierce, bold and stylish petite choices out there. I have lived this fact my entire life!
Everywhere I’ve ever lived, I have always had a tailor, sometimes 2 (like a back up parachute)

If I find an adorable pair of pants, I know I'll need to shorten by 2 inches…Get a fantastic dress? … be ready to shorten the torso a little and bring up the waist. It’s an inevitable snow ball that rolls downhill. What’s another $40 or so at the end of the day for the perfect fit…right?? Not ok!!!
Petite women should have more brand choices specifically made for us!!!
I am feeling the frustration as I build the brand! I am living the awkwardness and disappointment of what’s currently out there as I try to fill the gap.
In the end, I wore a dress I already had in my closet. I had paid $200 for the dress and $75 for the alteration.
Petite women unite! We deserve more representation!​
